Beds are fun You might like to question Henry about that. Henry the Bunyip lives in the attic of the Main Street Bakery. His little, sturdy wooden bed is high off the ground; he has a small ladder that he climbs up, surrounded by soft blankets and fluffy pillows. He feels like he is floating on a cloud. Sometimes, through the day, Henry likes to lie on his bed and look at the ceiling; he is so close to the roof that he can almost touch it, At night, Henry closes his eyes and drifts into a dream that transports him to another world. Sometimes, he dreams of his friend, Mr. RB Rabbit, driving his little red car. Other times, he dreams of ice cream, delicious ice cream. He imagines himself sitting in a massive tub of chocolate ice cream. But then, he wakes up. Oh no, Henry doesn’t like water. He dreads the possibility of that dream coming true. Henry's bed has a rectangular-shaped, fluffy, yellow blanket; he loves yellow, as it's bright as a sunny daffodil. Henry's bedroom has a tiny window. When Henry is sitting on top of his bed, he can look out of the window and can see way down Main Street; sometimes, when his friends are visiting, he sees them coming, Henry races down the stairs and greets them at the front door even before they ring the doorbell – he is so fast. Underneath his bed, you can enter Henry’s world of imagination; his favourite friends are all there in his books, his tea set is there waiting for all to enjoy a cup of tea, Betty the teddy bear is there, her suitcase is not far away, Betty usually lives in her case with Tiny Teddy. Sometimes, she likes to sit outside with the others. Early in the morning, Henry smells the freshly baked bread. He sometimes helps the baker by delivering bread to the grain store. When he enters the grain store, he stops by to pat Nell, the mother cat; her fur is so soft, and Nell always asks about her kitten Mittens, who lives at the bakery with the baker's family. Henry loves his bed. Each night, when the stars twinkle, Henry curls up and thinks about his busy day, slowly drifting off into the land of Nod. Bed is best , love always Henry
